Dr. James Underhill circa 1939
Dr. James Underhill circa 1939 - Dr. Underhill was a prominent surveyor and mining engineer. He and his wife, Lucy, lived in the home on Miner Street where he also conducted his engineering and surveying business. In 1964, the building was donated to the Historical Society to be preserved and managed as The Underhill Museum.
