You can contribute to the Historical Society in a number of ways. Financially, through membership, through volunteerism, and through donating to the collection. Each of these contribution opportunities is a great way to increase your Idaho Springs community involvement.

LEAD: (Individual-$35): One Free Museum Entry for one year.

LEAD+: (Senior 65+ Individual-$25): One Free Museum Entry for one year.

ZINC: (Family-$50): 4 Free Museum Entries for one year.

ZINC+: (Senior 65+ Family-$40): 4 Free Museum Entries for one year.

COPPER (Business-$100): 4 Free Museum Entries for one year, recognition in bi- annual newsletter.

IRON (Founder-$250): 2 Museum Mugs, 4 Free Museum Entries for one year, recognition on Donor Wall and in bi-annual newsletter.

SILVER (Corporate-$500): 4 Museum Mugs, 6 Free Museum Entries, Annual Recognition on Donor Wall and in bi-annual newsletter & a 10% discount at Museum Gift Shop on select merchandise.

GOLD (Sustaining-$1000): 6 Museum Mugs, 6 Free Museum Entries for one year, Annual recognition on Donor Wall and in bi-annual newsletter, a 10% discount at Museum Gift Shop on select merchandise, Priority seating and 2 free tickets to select fundraising events.

PLATINUM (Partner-$2500): 8 Museum Mugs, 8 Free Museum Entries for one year, a 10% discount at Museum Gift Shop on select merchandise, Annual recognition on Donor Wall and in bi-annual newsletter, Priority seating and one free table, 6 free tickets to fundraising events.

MOLY (Patron-$5000+): In honor of the Henderson Mine, this level includes 10 Museum Mugs, 10 Free Museum Entries for one year, a 15% discount at Museum Gift Shop on select merchandise, Recognition on Donor Wall, in bi-annual newsletter and annual meeting. Priority seating and 12 tickets to fundraising events.


Membership Options

The Historical Society of Idaho Springs is a non-profit organization incorporated in 1964. Our mission is the conservation and presentation of the history of Idaho Springs and the surrounding area.

YOU are the most important asset in our operation. Please join us in the preservation of our history. Our members play an important role in presenting our history to the public. They provide a significant portion of the funding for the operation and our members provide the continued encouragement to maintain our mission.

Members receive invitations to special events and meetings, information on special tours and programs, a complimentary copy of A History of Clear Creek County, and 10% off in the retail shop. Becoming a member also offers you the opportunity to expand your Idaho Springs community involvement by volunteering and working with others of diverse backgrounds, all in dedication to history and the local story. Whether you can offer a little bit of time or a lot, everyone’s volunteerism is important to us.
