The Historical Society of Idaho Springs is a non-profit organization incorporated in 1964. Our mission is the conservation and presentation of the history of Idaho Springs and the surrounding area.

YOU are the most important asset in our operation. Please join us in the preservation of our history. Our members play an important role in presenting our history to the public. They provide a significant portion of the funding for the operation and our members provide the continued encouragement to maintain our mission.

Members receive invitations to special events and meetings, information on special tours and programs, a complimentary copy of A History of Clear Creek County, and 10% off in the retail shop. Becoming a member also offers you the opportunity to expand your Idaho Springs community involvement by volunteering and working with others of diverse backgrounds, all in dedication to history and the local story. Whether you can offer a little bit of time or a lot, everyone’s volunteerism is important to us.

By joining the Historical Society of Idaho Springs, you become an important part of a dedicated group of people that work hard to share our story of Idaho Springs and Colorado. With your help, we will preserve our legacy and the unique characteristics of Idaho Springs. Please consider joining us today.
