Visitor Center

The Historical Society shares its building with the Idaho Springs Visitor Center, the local branch of the Forest Service, and the Heritage Museum. Within the Visitor Center section of the building, you can discover information about the town to plan your stay or purchase unique gifts that emphasize local history.

The Idaho Springs Visitor Center is a great resource to find all of the information you need to enjoy your stay in town! There is a kiosk with information about all of the businesses in Idaho Springs and the different activities available, there are personnel ready to answer your questions, and several brochures and maps for you to take with you on your adventures! You also have access to resources provided by the Forest Service, including information about local trails for hiking, biking, and ATVing, places to camp, and more.
